This policy explains what data ADHD Planner for Adults ("the app", "we") collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at mrpasa13@gmail.com.

Using the app without an account

You can use the app anonymously. AI features (organizing notes and transcribing voice notes) require a free account, because they run on our servers.

What we collect and why

• Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address, a user ID, and — if you use Google Sign-In — your name. This is used to create and secure your account and to sync your data. (Firebase Authentication.)
• Your notes and tasks. The notes you write and the tasks generated from them are stored in our cloud database so they sync across your devices. (Cloud Firestore.)
• Voice recordings. When you record a voice note, the audio is sent to Google's Gemini AI to transcribe it into text. The audio is processed in real time and is not stored by us; only the resulting text is saved as a note.
• Note text for AI organizing. When you tap "Organize", your note text is sent to Google's Gemini AI to extract and prioritize tasks.
• Device identifier. We read your device's Android ID and store it only as an irreversible hash, solely to prevent repeated abuse of the free trial on the same device.
• Subscription status. If you buy Premium, your subscription status is processed through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to unlock features. We never receive or store your payment card details — payment is handled entirely by Google Play.
• Advertising (free version). The free version may display ads through Google AdMob, which may use an advertising identifier to show ads.

How we share data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that operate the app on our behalf, each under its own privacy terms:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and server functions.
• Google Gemini — AI processing of note text and voice transcription.
• RevenueCat and Google Play — subscription management and billing.
• Google AdMob — advertising in the free version.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

• In the app: open the Account screen and tap Delete account.
• By email, or if you have uninstalled the app: see our account & data deletion page.

In-app deletions take effect immediately; email requests are completed within 30 days. The anonymized anti-abuse device hash is retained to keep preventing trial abuse.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and protected using Google Firebase's security infrastructure.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
